Tank Dell Returns to Play for Houston Texans

Tank Dell, the Houston Texans wide receiver, is set to play this Sunday against the New York Giants. This marks his return to the field after a lengthy recovery from a severe knee injury in December 2024. Dell missed all of the 2025 season due to multiple torn ligaments and a dislocated kneecap suffered in a Week 16 game.
Texans coach DeMeco Ryans expressed his anticipation for Dell’s return, emphasizing the significance of him just being able to play again. “No huge expectations from what he needs to do,” Ryans stated. “I’m just going to be excited to see him just out there for the first time in over two years, just getting some game action. So, I’m just thankful and grateful for him to have this opportunity to return.”
Dell’s return to the lineup adds depth to a Texans wide receiver group that already includes Nico Collins, Jaylin Noel, Xavier Hutchinson, Marvin Harrison Jr., and Kayshon Boutte. The team has a record of 2-4 for the season, having recently secured a divisional victory in London against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
