Marvin Harrison Jr to Play for Texans in London Game

Marvin Harrison Jr., recently acquired from the Arizona Cardinals, is set to play his first game for the Houston Texans against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London this Sunday. Texans coach DeMeco Ryans confirmed that Harrison, who joined the team this Monday, would be part of the lineup. The Texans traded 2027 second- and seventh-round picks for Harrison, hoping he’d enhance their offense after a disappointing tenure with the Cardinals.

Harrison, who had played with Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud at Ohio State, expressed optimism about reuniting with his former teammate. “Being with a quarterback that you have rapport with and had success with in the past is always great,” Harrison said. Despite his modest output this season, the wideout is excited about the fresh start and the team’s potential. He and Stroud plan to use their established chemistry to quickly integrate Harrison into the offense.

Coach Ryans and the Texans coaching staff are confident in Harrison’s ability to adapt. Ryans highlighted Harrison’s commitment, noting that he had already made significant progress in learning the playbook. With a background of working well under pressure and a solid relationship with Stroud, expectations are high for Harrison’s impact on the team. More Houston Texans coverage is at bettexassports.com.
